CEO O'Reilly shares the 30 year history of O'Reilly Media, perhaps the most influential media firm when it comes to the use and direction of technology, especially the web. A multi-faceted media firm that publishes books and magazines, produces events and conferences, offers training and more, O'Reilly's flagship event, Web 2.0 (started in 2004,) comes to Washington in September as Gov 2.0. The emerging arena of delivery of information and services to the citizen will be at the center of the event and the event will involve both senior government officials and CEOs from major corporations like Adobe, Intel, Juniper Networks, Yahoo, AOL, Verizon and others.
