The General Services Administration is setting up a new program for presidential appointees.

GSA hired the Hay Group under a 28 month contract that could be worth $474,000.

Under the deal, the Arlington, Va. vendor will work with the Administration Steering Group to develop the program for about 50 political appointees by late spring or early summer.

The meeting would focus on the administration's programmatic goals, emphasizing key themes such as teamwork, collaboration, strategies for public engagement, effective management and accountability, the RFP states.

The first meeting would be for cabinet level appointees and White House staff.

The contract includes an option for a second meeting for 650 people for sub-cabinet officials.

The RFP states the second meeting would address budget, authorization and appropriation at a strategic level, as well as practical understanding of government oversight and several other areas. The RFP provides no date for the second session.
