For most feds, January 19th, Martin Luther King’s birthday, is a federal holiday, and this year, the day before the inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama. But the nation’s 44th President also wants to make this a day to highlight volunteerism, as well as community service, and he’s recruited a high-profile former fed to make his case.
