(From December 19, 2008) – We have been telling you about the feature on the Obama transition team Web site that allows you to ask a question — and even rate the questions asked by others. Rather then developing an application, the Obama transition team used an application that already exists — developed by the search giant Google. It is called Google moderator. We spoke to Katie Jacobs Stanton, principal of Google’s new development team, and we asked her what Google Moderator is, how it works, and why a company best known for search, created such an application.
