NRC revamps cybersecurity

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission went before Congress in March 2008 to explain why its cybersecurity was deficient.

Since that testimony, the NRC has made a 180-degree turn in how it protects its computer networks.

Tomorrow morning at 10:30 on FederalNewsRadio’s Ask the CIO program, our own Jason Miller talks with Darren Ash, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s CIO, about the agency’s cybersecurity improvements.

Register for the Ask the CIO Chat with Andy Ozment of the Homeland Security Department on Oct. 11, at 1:30 p.m.
