Same-sex couples and passports

A lot of developments for same sex couples today.

As FederalNewsRadio has been telling you, President Obama will announce that same sex partners for federal employees will will benefits.

But there was also a court decision on the question of whether same sex partners can have their ‘married’ name on their passports.

Janson Wu is a staff attorney for the Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders (GLAD), the group that filed the passport suit.

He fills us in on what’s been going on.
