A bit of history today on our Fun Friday. “It’s almost a miracle,” to see their story told, says one of the first, last, and only members of the all-black 2nd Ranger Infantry Airborne Company who served in the Korean War in 1950 and 51.

A recently-published book, written by one of the Rangers, Retired Master Sergeant Edward Posey, tells the story of the 2nd Ranger Infantry Company.

We spoke with another former member of this special Company who served with Mr. Posey. Herculano Dias is a former Company Coordinator, and he helped to write the book.
