You hear about it a lot, the difference in thinking from inside the beltway and the rest of the nation.

A new Politico poll shows just how dramatically different those opinions are. Like 68 percent of Washington elites believe the tea party is a fad compared to only 26 percent of the general population.

Andy Barr is a reporter for Politico. He tells the DorobekInsider he was surprised by just how big of a contrast there is between Washington and the rest of the nation.
