AFGE rallies at U.S. Capitol

Union members rally to raise awareness of issues impacting federal employees, including furloughs, sequestration and federal pay and benefits.

Marching to the Capitol Members from the American Federation of Government Employees rallied at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015. They were joined by members of other unions representing employees of a variety of federal agencies.

The rally included a march to the Capitol and speeches by union officials and members of Congress. The aim of the rally was to make members of the 114th Congress aware of issues impacting federal employees, including furloughs, sequestration and federal pay and benefits.
