Fort Hood, Texas, is getting something from the Stimulus Bill: 621 million dollars for a new military hospital. Fort Hood has outgrown the Carl Darnall Army Medical Center, built in the days of Vietnam, and originally supported the base when it was home to 17 thousand troops.
