GAO: How to enhance agency performance under GPRA

Your agency is working on new performance goals, part of the new GPRA Modernization Act.

That law includes many requirements for agencies, including one that requires them to choose performance improvement officers.

The Government Accountability Office is watching closely to see if the law is effective in improving performance. GAO says the law can help your agency in five areas.
