The role of the reservist is changing. Currently, if there’s a military action, the Secretary of Defense has to get presidential approval to mobilize the reserve forces.

But now the Chief of the Army Reserve tells Federal News Radio that law needs to be changed. Lt. General Jack Stultz will testify before the House Armed Services Sub committee on Personnel about how the Reserve forces have evolved.
