May 16, 2014 — This week on “Fed Access”, Mark Schroeder, vice president of Africa analysis at Stratfor, joins host Derrick Dortch to give us an update on the terrorist group Boko Haram that is now operating in Nigeria.
The group made national news when it kidnapped nearly 300 Nigerian schoolgirls and threatened to sell them into slavery. Schroeder will discuss that incident and the challenges the Nigerian government faces in locating the girls. He will also talk about how this affects U.S. foreign policy in the West African nation.
Later in the show, Fred Burton, vice president of Intelligence for Stratfor, will discuss the ongoing investigation of the terrorist attacks on two U.S. compounds in Benghazi Libya, where four Americans were killed.
