Presidential Transition Act greases the skids

Legislation aimed at making the presidential transition process smoother has landed on President Obama’s desk for signature. The bill calls on the General Services Administration to offer candidates running for president office space in D.C. and access to government briefings and training. John Palguta, vice president for policy, explains why the Partnership for Public Service actively supported this bill.
