Long-range fix for Social Security proposed

Federal News Radio has told you about plans coming from former Comptroller General David Walker, Former Democratic Budget Director Alice Rivlin with the Bipartisan Policy Center, and the President’s Deficit Commission. Not to mention advice from Congress. Now Virginia Reno, the Vice President for Income Security Policy at the National Academy of Social Insurance and the co-author of a brief called “Strengthening Social Security for the Long Run” about what her group thinks should be done to strengthen Social Security.
