E-Verify is designed to make sure employees are eligible to work in the U.S. But there have been drawbacks. The Government Accountability Office testified in 2008 that fighting fraud and ensuring accuracy were challenges that the E-Verify system needed to overcome. Richard Stana, Director of Homeland Security and Justice Issues at the Government Accountability Office, joins us with the latest findings from GAO’s most recent review of the E-Verify System.
