A white-hat hacker presentation has been cancelled at the request of the Homeland Security Department.

A white-hat hacker presentation has been cancelled at the request of the Homeland Security Department. Independent security researchers were scheduled to demonstrate vulnerabilities in supervisory control and data acquisition, but, Government Computer News reports, the demonstration might have been a little too good. Presenters decided to scrap the demo after DHS expressed security concerns. Infrastructure systems have increasingly become a focus of malware attacks such as the Stuxnet virus.
