You probably know it’s a good idea to sit down with a financial planner at some point to make sure your money is going to good use. But some of those planners don’t care much for the Thrift Savings Plan because it doesn’t have mutual funds they can sell you.

Registered employee benefit consultant Ed Zurndorfer joined the Federal Drive with tips for choosing a good financial planner, especially if you’re a fed.
