Global cyber spending to reach $60B this year

Tech Journal South reports that the United States accounts for more than half of all deals globally. The reason? growing cyber threats and increasing awareness.

Since 2008, the total investment in global cyber security has exceeded $22 billion. That’s an average of more than $6 billion in growth every year.

Throughout the world, the private sector makes up most of cybersecurity spending — except in the United States — where government spending is almost equal to the private sector.
