Hackers breach Philippine government websites

Hacker group, called Private-X, breached the Office of the Vice President site and the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute.

One group of hackers celebrated the new year by breaking into two Philippine government websites.

The group, called Private-X, breached the Office of the Vice President site and the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute. Infosecurity reports, the group claims to be interested in promoting information security in the country. Hackers embedded a video into one site. It shows of a government official in an earlier interview denying that they had been infiltrated by Private-X last summer. The video has since been removed.
