First Lady Michelle Obama helped kick off the six-day Warrior Games in Colorado this week.

Teams are competing for medals in seven sports, including basketball, track and field, archery and cycling.

The Marine team won the first gold medal of the games in a 10K cycling competition.

Winner Lance Corporal Levi Marshall has a traumatic brain injury and limited use of one arm. But he says he is inspired by other Marines who have more severe injuries and are competing along with him.
