VP/CTO Cyber Security & NexGen Innovation Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Services
Curt Aubley is the VP /CTO of Cyber Security & NexGen Innovations for Lockheed Martin Information Systems and Global Services (LM IS&GS). LM IS&GS currently employs more than 46,000 professionals delivering solutions and services in more than 1000 locations across the globe with revenues of more than 10 Billion annually. In this capacity, Mr. Aubley is responsible for leading the creation of next generation cyber security, cloud computing, mission focused IT Innovations, service management, and integrated solutions, across LM IS&GS lines of business for their world wide government customers. Mr. Aubley leads Lockheed Martin’s Global NexGen Cyber Innovation and Technology Centers, partner management, and vendor technology evaluation group which creates new customer-focused innovations. Mr. Aubley has led the creation of products & solution architectures using agile software development, system engineering techniques & ITIL operational processes helping grow new business. Mr. Aubley is the recipient of three prestigious Lockheed Martin Nova Awards, LM IS&GS Eagle, and three President Awards.
Mr. Aubley’s previous position at Lockheed Martin was the CTO of Lockheed Martin IT. Prior to joining Lockheed Martin in 2002, Mr. Aubley has held positions of increasing responsibility including: Development Engineer, Raytheon Digital Systems Lab; Commander & Chief Communications Engineer, Mogadishu, Somalia CPT US Army; Computer Systems Performance Engineer, US Army Computer Engineering Center (TIC); VP of Performance & Engineering, Neal Nelson & Associates; Level 7 Senior System Engineer, AT&T, Chief Systems Architect, NCR; CEO & CTO Of MightyView; Chief Information Officer & CTO of OAO Corporation.
Mr. Aubley is a subject matter expert in Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Solution Architectures, Virtualization, Enterprise Management, & Computer performance and serves on the Technology Advisor Boards for Intel, HP, Microsoft, & McAfee. He speaks at industry events on a regular basis and has published various papers and articles on Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, innovation, Service Level Management, Agile Engineering, ITIL, System Engineering, Virtualization, Enterprise Service Management, UNIX/Linux, Networking, Windows Servers, and computer performance. He has published articles and papers for: Lockheed Martin, Department of Defense, Sunworld Magazine, Windows NT Magazine, InfoWorld, Windows Magazine, and LMIT’s Precision customer publication. He has also authored two books published by Prentice Hall: Tuning and Sizing NT Server & Tuning and Sizing Windows 2000 for Maximum Performance which are both in their second printings. Mr. Aubley also speaks at various public venues to include Ziff Davis, Computer World, & Partner events.
Mr. Aubley is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Certified / Qualified Ethical Hacker (CEH/QEH), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), NSA INFOSEC Assessment & Evaluation Methodologies (IAM & IEM), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University, Boston, MA and completed computer engineering graduate work while attending the Air Force Institute of Technology located in Dayton, OH where he completed the U.S. Army’s Teleprocessing Operations Officer Course.
