Paul Christman Vice President Dell Software Public Sector
Mr. Paul Christman is responsible for Dell Software’s public sector division, covering the U.S. federal government, state and local governments, and education in all 50 states. In this role, he oversees business and channel development, product and marketing functions, and systems consulting. He is in charge long term growth and overall profitability as well as day-to-day customer relationships. Mr. Christman joined Quest (now a part of Dell) in April 2005 as director of SLED public sector sales where he led teams responsible for creating strategic technology relationships with state and local governments and higher education institutions nationwide.
Previously, Mr. Christman spent four years at VERITAS Software as national sales manager and business development manager for state and local governments and public education customers. Prior to joining Veritas Software, he was a district manager for Metiom, an electronic procurement software company that focused on automating government purchasing. Mr. Christman has also held various sales and sales management positions at Microsoft and Lotus. He has experience in government purchasing, contracting, consulting, and software product marketing. He has been selling to public sector government customers for the past sixteen years and involved in the software industry for over twenty years.
