March 19, 2013 — Every federal agency will be making drastic changes in the next few years.

You can lie this at the feet of smaller budgets, a move to the cloud, mobile devices, or even the whirlwind changes that healthcareIT will make at HHS.

Today’s interview is with Doug Charles, the president and CEO of Capgemini Government Solutions.

Capgemini is a world-renowned consulting company.

Charles has experience working with federal agencies to accommodate change in the information technology area.

He indicates that, in order to accomplish major changes in information technology, you must focus on three areas: tools, knowledge sills, and motivation.

One of the most intriguing aspects of the interview was the observation that, when it comes to behavioral change, some anxiety is not all bad.

Involving participants in the change is always a good idea.

Further training in the workplace can reduce the anxiety mentioned above.
