The Army’s Future Combat Systems program is transitioning to a Brigade Combat Team Modernization Strategy, according Vice Chief of Staff Gen. Peter Chiarelli. The new strategy is expected to enhance network capabilities and use advancing technology to give soldiers an advantage over the enemy. General Chiarelli was one of the witnesses at a Senate Armed Services subcommittee hearing on FCS Tuesday.
