Going green? Government Sustainability is on the top of mind for government executives. But agencies’ success at reaching green goals are mixed.

The scorecards are in for agencies’ sustainability plans.

Your agency is supposed to use the scorecard results to update its sustainability plan due in June. Nancy Sutley, chair of the White House Council on Environmental Quality, explained why the White House wanted these benchmarks.

Government sustainability was the subject of this month’s Collaborative Government Initiative‘s first edition journal – Leadership. The Journal hopes to give voice to government executives. Molly O’Neill, the former Chief Information Officer at the Environmental Protection Agency, writes in the journal about government sustainability.
