The Commerce Department’s Internet Policy Task Force is accepting comments on its report to strengthen businesses’ cybersecurity, according to a Federal Register notice today.
The task force report, published earlier this month, focuses on non-critical infrastructure areas.
Cyber standards set out in the report could become the basis for a voluntary code of conduct. However, “This is a continuing conversation,” according to the report.
Commerce’s Internet Policy Task Force was launched in early 2010 with the job of developing recommending new cyber policies.
