    And it’s doing it through the use of standards for secure online transactions.

    NCI and the SAFE BioPharma Association are putting the concepts outlined in the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace into practice.

    Federal News Radio’s Jason Miller brings us the details.

  • Every federal employee faces some risk of being sued by the public.

    The risk, in part, comes from a 40-year-old Supreme Court decision that says if someone thinks a federal employee violated their constitutional rights, the person could sue that employee.

    Paul Brown is a senior counsel in the Justice Department’s civil division. He tells reporter Jason Miller about how feds can protect themselves and the considerations of whether to buy professional liability insurance.
