Cyber attack that wasn’t — and one that was — offer lessons

Federal officials have ruled out a cyber attack as the cause of a water pump failure in Illinois.

But, a water system in South Houston was the victim of a real cyber attack.

These two cases highlight the real threat that cyber attacks can have, Vance Taylor, a partner Catalyst said. He penned a blog post on SecurityDebrief.com calling the Houston attack a “stark reminder.”
