Hackers recycling malware … or getting lazy

Either Mac hackers are recycling — or getting lazy.

“Tsunami” a new version of an old trojan was discovered last week and experts say it’s most likely in a development phase, Computer World reports.

The malware was originally written for Linux nearly ten years ago, but hackers are recompiling the code to make it run on Mac OS X. Experts are rating the threat as minor for now, according to the report.
