It’s not technically an iPad 3 — Apple has opted for the moniker “new iPad” — but the latest tablet may make the government mobile market even hotter.

Tom Suder, the president and CEO of Mobilegov, which consults on mobile strategy, joined In Depth with Francis Rose to discuss whether the new iPad’s release will fuel an increasing demand for tablets.

“This market is exploding,” Suder told Politico. “Adoption going forward is going to be far more widespread. Almost every agency is going to be experimenting with something.”

Online Chat: Beth Killoran, deputy assistant secretary for Information Technology and chief information officer at HHS, on March 28.
