The Defense Department has been working on a new approach to improve electronic medical record access for our troops.

Tommy Morris is the Acting Director of the Defense Department’s Office of Force Health Protection and Readiness Programs and has been leading the effort to improve the medical record access.

Francis Rose spoke with Tommy Morris about the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application, also known as the AHLTA system.
