This week on “Off the Shelf”, Tom Sisti, senior director & chief legislative counsel for SAP, provides an update on current acquisition reform efforts. In particular, Sisti provides analysis of the acquisition reform provisions in the recently enacted National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
He also highlights key provisions focusing on commercial item acquisitions as well as provisions granting the Department greater authority to acquire capabilities through processes and procedures other outside the current system. Tom also provides insights on the current state of play of commercial item contracting across the federal enterprise, including GSA’s MAS program.
