Last month, the National Security Agency took a major step forward in an effort to help private companies prevent and respond to cybersecurity incidents. As a first step, the agency created an accreditation system that tests cybersecurity companies against 21 separate focus areas. Six companies got the NSA’s seal of approval, including Lockheed Martin. Chandra McMahon is Lockheed’s vice president for commercial markets. She talked about the program with Federal News Radio’s Jared Serbu.
