If some House Republican lawmakers have their way, the federal government would never replace retiring feds when they retire.

This is just one of the provisions of HR 5348, The Federal Workforce Reduction Act.

The bill is just one of a package of bills introduced in the House as part of the GOP’s Cut Spending Now initiative.
