Dr. James A. Bryant works for Merlin International in Vienna, Virginia as the Senior Director of Systems Engineering. For the last 24 years, Dr. Bryant has also taught Graduate School as an Adjunct Professor at several Universities in Supply Chain Management, Information Security and Privacy, Information Assurance, Information Technology, Telecommunications and Information Systems.

Dr. Bryant is a noted authority in Information Assurance, Cloud Computing, and Cyber Security. Dr. Bryant further provides expertise and knowledge as the Senior Science Adviser and Education Committee Chair for the Advanced Security and Training Alliance (ASTRA) that promotes Cyber Security and Information Assurance in the Berkley, Charleston, Dorchester Region of South Carolina; as a Board member of Palmetto Partners (Robotics) in the FIRST competition; with the New Carolina Economic and Education Development in South Carolina; and the National Broadband Advisory Council. Dr. Bryant additionally served on the National Association of State CIOs Enterprise Architecture and Cyber Security Committees, and the National Governor Association’s Task Force on Information Technology Privacy and Protection.
