Information management needed to enhance cybersecurity

Government Computer News reports, information management doesn’t require data dumps, but standards for tools that can analyze data. These new standards are helping to make cybersecurity more strategic and less tactical and reactive.

  • Under FISMA agencies are required to file an annual report about how they look at their IT systems. The law though doesn’t specify how they have to do that.
