Google-y art wall competition shows off employees’ creativity

As one might suspect, employees at Google don’t take competition lightly. So when the company announced an internal contest in June to create the best “Googley Art Wall” in the open spaces in their offices, 23 teams from eight different countries went all out to create artistic – or at least tech-y – works of art to adorn their office walls. The Wall Street Journal writes that a team of managers from the company’s sales, product management and marketing teams ultimately selected the Taiwan office’s entry – titled “Rubik’s Cubes Galore!” – as most deserving of the grand prize (dinner for the team and a donation to the charity of the team’s choice).
