The 23rd annual GCN Awards Gala celebrated the best in the government IT community, Government Computer News reports.

John Garing was inducted to the GCN Hall of Fame after a long, distinguished career in the military and at the Defense Information Systems Agency. The Industry IT Executive of the Year was Bruce Klein, senior vice president of U.S. Public Sector Theater for Cisco.
