JFK archives go digital

On the 50th anniversary of JFK\'s inauguration, the 35th president\'s archives are now available online.

The archives of the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum are now available in digital form.

The project – called “Access to a Legacy” – is the first time a presidential library established in the paper age has become committed wholly to the digital era, Boston Globe reports.

The unveiling of the digital archives comes on the 50th anniversary of Kennedy’s inauguration. The project took four years and $10 million to complete, the Globe reports.

The project digitalized millions of presidential documents, photographs and audiovisual recordings and made the data available online. You can also follow the project on Twitter.
