How to meet IPv6 standards

NIST\'s Sheila Frankel explains how agencies can be IPv6-compatible.

Your IPv6-compatible devices will be expected to pass a set of standards laid out by the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Most agencies have not actually made the switch yet to IP-v6, but they have had to demonstrate they can send and receive traffic using it.

Sheila Frankel, a computer scientist at the Computer Security Division at NIST, tells Federal News Radio’s Tom Temin that the process of becoming completely IPv6- compatible starts with the products you purchase.
