Looking for the millennial perspective

Federal News Radio is conducting a survey of millennials in the federal workforce.

The number of federal employees under age 30 dropped from 9 percent of the workforce in 2010 to 6.6 percent in 2015, according to the most recent public data from the Office of Personnel Management. And the number of employees under age 25 in the federal workforce dropped from roughly 2 percent to just under 1 percent during the same time.

If you’re under age 35, we’d like to learn more about your experience in the federal government: where you see yourself in the future, what you like most about your job and what influences you to stay or leave the federal workforce.

If you’re not a millennial, we invite your feedback on what your agency is doing to recruit and retain new talent, as well as your own thoughts on what influences you to stay or leave government.
