This week on “Your Turn”, financial analyst Bob Lang joins host Mike Causey to discuss the best investment strategies for federal workers. Lang is a private trader in equity and option markets at his company Aztec Capital LLC, and he will explain why buying and holding stocks no longer works for many investors.

Later in the show, Arthur Stein, a Bethesda-based financial planner, looks at feds’ investment behavior in the federal Thrift Savings Plan. He  believes that too many young, lower income federal workers are wasting one of their most precious assets (time) as they invest in the TSP. Stein also feels that too many older feds and retirees may have too much money invested in the super-safe Treasury securities G-fund, and not enough in the higher-risk, higher-reward stock-index C, S and I funds.
