Congress is trying again to finish your agency’s budget for the year. Democrats say they’re ready to cut another $20 billion in spending. But some Republicans say that’s not enough. Experts say the House probably needs to pass something by Friday, so Congress can beat an April 8th deadline. That’s when the current CR expires.
OPM is making it easier for you to hire people with disabilities. They’re putting out a list of candidates that you can hire without competition. You can search it online…it’s linked up at Federal News Radio dot com. Last year, the President asked agencies to hire one hundred thousand people with disabilities by 2015.
