Most people said they noticed the change in security. Federal News Radio senior correspondent Mike Causey said before 9/11, it was normal for him to be able to walk through federal buildings, chat with people in the halls and have lunch in agency cafeterias. Those days are over. Causey wrote in his column, nowadays, “getting into almost any federal facility is a federal case.”
