The Defense Department is gearing up for $450 billion worth of budget cuts over the next decade. The House Armed Services Committee’s panel on business challenges in the Defense Industry looked at how those cuts might reshape the defense industry.

Jack Gansler is director of the Center for Public Policy & Private Enterprise at the University of Maryland’s School of Public Policy and former Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics. He joins In Depth with Francis Rose with highlights of what he told the Armed Services Committee this morning.
