Agency CISOs face new cyber, budget climate

Cybersecurity is one of the few budget lines in government that’s still seeing increases. But even so, many chief information officers and chief information security officers are still operating in an atmosphere of more-with-less pressure.

Pat Howard, the chief information security officer at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, joined In Depth with Francis Rose to discuss NRC’s cybersecurity efforts.

Howard was part of a panel of government CISOs at the annual RSA Conference held this week in San Francisco. Howard recapped his remarks and discussed some of NRC’s toughest cyber challenges.
