The Federal News Radio United Way Community Spotlight for August is Vehicles for Change

When you donate a car to Vehicles for Change you are changing the lives of a hard working family, and helping to enhance your own by potentially receiving the FULL fair market value deduction for your car.

Since 1999, Vehicles For Change has helped over 3,800 worthy families move from dependency to self-sufficiency. The VFC mission is to help those who want to help themselves. Qualified recipients can purchase a car for $700 that will impact their lives in so many ways. Your donated car may open the doors to a world of financial and personal independence that were once closed. Your donation will make a positive impact on a family less fortunate than your own. In return, you will be rewarded with the maximum tax benefit.

Vehicles For Change car recipients are referred by variety of sponsoring agencies including homeless shelters, job readiness programs, domestic violence shelters and others. Your car will not only provide transportation, it will give them the confidence and self-esteem they need to be successful in their new life. Having a car makes a difference. The results we have seen from our car donation program are amazing! There are many success stories, but none are possible without car donations from people like you.

Donate your car TODAY! Vehicles for Change accepts cars in any condition. Cars in good condition are awarded to a worthy family and qualify for the fair market value deduction.
