Kick off the summer with WTOP at the Safeway Barbecue Battle! This annual event will take place June 22nd and 23rd to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs.

Pennsylvania Avenue will be Jammin’ with 30 bands on 3 stages. Like The Wailers and Roy Ayers on the Pepsi Next-Lays Sound Stage and Kristen and the Noise and EU on the Famous Dave’s Music Stage.

This is a must attend event with free food in Safeway’s Sampling Pavilion, the National Pork BBQ Championship, Rancher’s Reserve Beef Contest, Open Nature Lamb Contest and Perdue’s Sizzlin’ Chicken Contest, Plus NBA Nation and lots more!
