One of the largest government contractors in the country has agreed to give back nearly $12 million to the federal government. SAIC reached the settlement with the federal government and a former employee-turned-whistleblower, which brought the suit under the federal false claims act, claiming SAIC falsified its costs under a government contract to train first responders in dealing with weapons of mass destruction.
